Question answer

Earmuffs or ear plugs?
When should I use something?

Ear plugs are usually unsuitable for children, as children at a certain age can not judge correctly whether the plug fits properly in the ear and protects against noise. Even adults can often judge this poorly. Failure to properly seat the plug may result in hearing loss in a noisy environment. Ear muffs, on the other hand, are simply placed on the ears and thus simply close the auditory canal. A protection against annoying noise is always guaranteed.

However, there are also ear plugs or silicone products that are quite suitable for children. However, the application should only be considered if proper use and use are guaranteed. In case of doubt prefer to use ear muffs.
